Sustainable Exploitation

SARIC works in favor of the environment as it has environmental certificates and registrations and its vision is to respect and help preserve natural forests and invest in reforestation and sustainable logging.

It currently has more than 1,600 hectares of standing reforested land, continuing the reforestation project initiated in 1936.

Reforested areas act as a kind of lung during the growth years, considerably reducing the pressure exerted on native forests, thanks to the capture of CO2 and the production of oxygen.

We are currently building a sawmill and studying a clonal nursery project.
